Margaret "Carolyn" Parker

Margaret "Carolyn" Parker, 86, of Cocoa, FL passed away Monday, May 6, 2019. Born in Decatur, Alabama, Carolyn moved to Florida just after her high school graduation in 1952. She met her husband while working for Southern Bell Telephone Company and devoted her life to her family.

Carolyn attended Merritt Island Church of Christ for many years and built special relationships with her brothers and sisters within the church. She was known as a social butterfly and loved to meet new people. Carolyn was a great cook, but in recent years, enjoyed going out to eat more so she could socialize. She loved shopping.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Parker, in May 1998. She is survived by her daughter, Vicki S. Parker-Mabe; sister, Mary Miller; and her brothers and sisters through Christ at church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association:

Visitation will be held at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 1-2PM with the service to begin at 2PM. Interment will follow at Brevard Memorial Park.
