

Margaret Scott of Cocoa Florida passed away on August 18, 2019. Born Margaret Sophia Steward in May of 1922 in Hendersonville, TN, she attended school in Hendersonville, graduating in 1941, and married James C. Sisco in October of that same year.
A son, James C. Sisco Jr, was born in November of 1942 followed by a daughter, Rebecca Ann Sisco, born in November of 1946. The Sisco family moved to Cocoa, FL in 1955. Husband James passed in 1999 and is buried at Brevard Memorial Park in Cocoa. She married Vechel Scott of Hendersonville, TN in 2003 and they resided in Cocoa. Husband, Vechel passed in 2010 and is buried in Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Sisco also resided in TN, AL, NY, CA, NV and TX during her life. Margaret was a lifetime member and faithful follower of the Church of Christ, attending anytime the doors opened wherever she lived and was much loved by her many church friends. She was a remarkable seamstress, enriching the lives of a multitude of women spanning her entire adult life and was her lifetime work.
She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Rebecca Jean Sisco of Mooresville, NC in 2013, and close family members too numerous to list. She is survived by son James Sisco and his wife Grace of Mooresville, NC, and daughter Rebecca Ann Simandira and her husband James (George) Simandira of Cocoa, FL.
Margaret Sophia Sisco-Scott lived a full life, passing at 97 years old, outliving most of her family, friends and classmates. She is buried in the same grave as her husband James C. Sisco at Brevard Memorial Park in Cocoa, FL. She left a lasting memory on everyone she encountered. No Mother was ever loved more than Margaret was by her two children.
