
He was born May 29, 1963, in Charlotte, NC to Jim and Mary (Williams) Davis.
Mr. Davis was a successful computer aided draftsman for more than 30 years, achieving a lengthy career with Siemens Energy, formerly Siemens Corporation and Westinghouse. He completed his education at the University of Central Florida where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree and was also a graduate of Brevard Community College and Merritt Island High School ’81.
Many interests occupied his time in recent years, he collected model cars, researched the underground railroad and the history of trains from the civil war era. He was an animal lover, especially fond of dogs.
Mark’s wife preceded him in death just eight months prior, He and Brenda Davis were married 33 years.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents Jim and Mary Davis. He is survived by older brothers Jim Davis and Joe Davis (Joanna Davis), and younger sisters Jeanne Coryell and Linda Davis, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A generous and good-hearted man, with the sweetest personality, will be missed by us all, we are deeply saddened by his early death.
He spent many summers camping with his family, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins at Hibernia State Park, in Henderson, NC. At his request and later date, the family will hold a Celebration of Life at Kerr Lake, NC. It was his dream to retire at the lake, it was his favorite spot. He deserved so much more in life, and he will rest exactly where his heart has always longed to be.
