Mary J Crosby

Mary J. Crosby, 90 years of age, a proud alumna of Penn State University & a longtime resident of Brevard County, died February 12, 2011. Mary was an amazing woman. She was brilliant, kind, loving, a great conversationalist & cute as a button. Mary is survived by her daughter, Christalee Burkett; former son-in-law, Roy Burkett; son Wallace L. Crosby II & his wife, Diana; grandson Roy L. Burkett & his wife, Debbie; great grandchildren, Matthew & Abigail Burkett; brother, George Kowatch; her First Christian Church of Cocoa Beach family & many other family members & friends.

A memorial service will be held on February 20, 2011, at 12:15 p.m., at the First Christian Church of Cocoa Beach, 470 S. Brevard Avenue, Cocoa Beach, FL. A reception will follow in the church Fellowship Hall.

In lieu of flowers, the family graciously requests that donations be made in Mary J. Crosby’s memory to the Cocoa Beach Public Library, 550 N. Brevard Ave., Cocoa Beach, FL 32931.
