For Dear MAYE,S FAMILY,
We loved your Dear Mother,Maye, as if she were our own. She was a MOTHER to many & took care of them & smiled with them & ,gave her time & home to God's Servants!
She had the heart of a Servant. MAYE had a deep Love & faithfulness to GOD above all else.
GOD'S indwelling Spirit was her guide.
May you know comfort & peace with your Dear Mother being where JESUS IS as HE promised. With Kindest Love, Betty Kucera

At the SHS media center, Maye took me under her wings and taught me that we "must teach teach these children to be responsible". She was extremely talented at repairing books and rebinding them. She repaired a teacher's old family Bible. Very professional job and we were proud of her talents. She was a hard working woman and we shuddered when they took all our catalog cards and sent them away to be put on a disc and entered into our computer. This could've been a disaster and I bet she had personally typed many of them over the yrs. When the disc came back loaded with info we still held onto the cards for a few yrs. I was proud to know her.

Ron, Marcia, Berlene & Doug~. This will be a hard day for the four of you. But I know there are many comforting memories to pull you through To know that Aunt Maye & Uncle Marvin two people that deeply loved each other, are together again puts a smile on my face! Your Uncle Byron never stopped missing his brother & your Aunt Georgia was more than a sister-in-law, they were good friends. They are all together now~maybe at a dance! Such wonderful memories of dear Ms Maye! I knew her since about 2000--received my mail at her house a few years. She made us feel so welcome and at home, and spoiled us rotten. Loved her beautiful spirit. My sympathy to all her children.

Aunt Maye, will be missed by many as she was so loved by her family. I remember staying with her when my mom married her brother,Harry. Also visiting in Salina, I remember she was a little ornery but that was normal for the Chatham kids. To my cousin's hold on tight to your memories you will find comfort in them.
