Steve and I met Mike and Sue while we were stationed in Sigonella, Sicily 34 years ago and have been such close friends since. Sue it saddens my heart deeply that Mike has passed and my thoughts and prayers are with you now during this most difficult time. I have such great memories of our times together. Steve always said that Mike was like a brother and now they are together. May God watch over you and bring you comfort.

There were times when Mike, Sue and I would go to the Mango Tree, a 5-star restaurant in Cocoa Beach, to enjoy as much as a five course meal.  My son, Bryan Kemp, was the executitive chef there until about 6 months ago when the economly forced its closing.  Fine food, great friendship, wonderful atmosphere were enjoyed each time we went.  It helped realax after a 'Linex' days.

Susan, there are not enough words to describe how we feel about your loss of Mike.  We've all known each other since 1971 you bought the house across the cul-de-sac in Orange Park and the memories will always be there.  He's in God's hands now and we will always be in touch with him in our prayers.  Likewise, our prayers are constantly with you.

There are no words to adequately express our sympathy for the profound loss you must be feeling. Please know we are thinking of you and praying for you and your family. Again our deepest sympathy to you and your family.

Our sincere condolences to Mike's family for your loss.  We just received Kathy's e-mail regarding Mike's passing and had to leave a message. Rick was stationed with Mike at Navy Recruiting District Chicago.  We visited Mike and Susan at there home in Grayslake, IL  and had many good times together.  Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time.  Fair winds and following seas to a great US Navy sailor from a friend and shipmate! Susan, David and Kathy, I am so sorry to hear about Mike's passing. I am chosing to remember all the good times we had in New Orleans with the party's, going to the movies, and everything else from that time. That time is one of the special moments of my life and I will always cherish the memories.

No words will ever make the deep pain you feel in your heart go away.  I can only hope that the support and love you recieve from family and friends can help to ease the pain.  May God be with you as you travel this road in life and may he carry you when you need it.  We all must rest some day this is now Mikes time.  My love and prayers are with you in your time of sorrow.
