Michael J. Drake

Rockledge

Michael J Drake, age 68, passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at his home. He lived most of his

life in Kalamazoo, MI and worked as a pipefitter/plumber with Local 357. We moved to Rockledge m

2003 He was a current member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rockledge and attended St.

Augustine Cathedral Church and School in Kalamazoo prior to that. He was also a lifetime member of

the Knights of Columbus in Kalamazoo and enjoyed golfing with the guys from VFW Post 4534 m

Rockledge.

He was preceded in death by his son, John M. Drake and his father, Charles N. Drake. He is survived

by his wife Sharon L. Drake (of 40 years), his mother, Bemice M. Drake, sister, Patricia Goff,

brothers, Joseph Drake and Thomas Drake, and sister, Maria Drake as well as several extended family

members.

A Funeral Mass will be held at A^^on Friday, September 7, 2012 at St Mary's Catholic Church in

Rockledge Interment will be at a later date in Kalamazoo, MI. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that a

donation be made to St. Augustine Cathedral School at 542 W. Michigan Ave, Kalamazoo, MI. 49006,

or VITAS Innovative Hospice Care in Melbourne, FL.
