
Otis Dion Trotter Cocoa Otis Dion Trotter, 73, passed away on May 14, 2011. Otis was born in Guthrie, OK. Later his family moved to Anadarko, OK where he attended school and sometimes worked in the family dry goods and clothing busi ness. After graduating High School, Otis served in the U.S. Army from 1955 - 1962. Otis came to Brevard County in 1966 and worked for General Dynamics. He later went to work for Pan Am. Otis loved to travel. He worked in several Countries around the world, including Africa, Thailand, Venezue la, Iran, Iraq and Saudi Arabia. He still maintained friendships with many of his old friends. After retirement, Otis was a dedicated part time em ployee of Fidelity Bank of Florida and Atlantic Culvert where he was much loved. He was a devout, life long Christian and member of Winter Garden Primitive Baptist Church, Winter Garden, FL. He opened his home weekly for Bible study. Otis was most happy with family and cheering on his College Football - his Florida Teams, especially the Gators. He is survived by his loving wife, Zelma E. Trotter; his brothers, Richard Trotter (Cynthia) of CA, Stephen Trotter (Cathy) of CA and AZ; son, Scott Trotter (Laurie), Titusville, FL; daughters, Georganne Shumans (Eric), Brunswick, GA, Lynn Trotter (Doug), Altamonte Springs, FL. Other children, Harry Hanley (Lisa), Melbourne, Australia, Nancy Madigan (Dan), Orlando, FL, Margaret Wehner (Alan), Cocoa, FL and Jackie Handley (deceased), Merritt Island, FL; 13 grandchildren, 10 great- grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Otis will be forever remembered and missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation Friday even, May 20th, 6 to 8 pm at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, Cocoa, FL. Funeral Saturday, May 21st at 11 am.
