Patricia A. Edler

It is with great sadness that the family of Patricia Ann Edler, 79, of Cocoa, Florida announce her passing on July 29, 2025. Born Patricia Ann Jones, “Pat,” in Havre de Grace, Maryland to Charles Jones and Virgina McGlothlin on August 3, 1945. Pat lived in Conowingo, MD during her school years and attended Perryville High School. In June 1962, she married and became a mother to three sons, Bobby, Frank, & Shawn. In 1973, Pat met the love of her life, Lee Edler. Lee was a father to two daughters, Sheila and Kendra. Pat and Lee married in December 1974 and with their children became a family. In 1984, the Edler-Grisson family moved to Cocoa, FL. Pat worked for the Brevard County Public School Board as a bus driver. She retired in 2012 after 25 years of service. Pat is survived by her children, Robert Grisson (Barbara Johnson), Sheila Clark (Charles Clark), Frank Grisson (Melissa Grisson), Shawn Grisson (Sherry Ward), Kendra Devine (Bob Devine), grandchildren, Christal Locklear, Ashley Ratliff, Richard Ward, Amber Ratliff, Taylor Grisson, James Devine, Colby Grisson, Darby Benton, Kenneth Devine, Leanna White, Madison Grisson, 26 great- grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and brother, David. Pat is preceded in death by husband Leroy Edler, siblings Marty, Charlie, Melony, and parents Charles and Virginia.

A visitation for Patricia will be held Friday, August 8, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home, 1360 N Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island, FL 32953. A Celebration of Life will follow. Committal will occur Friday, August 8, 2025 at 1:30 PM at Cocoa Memorial Park, 320 Spring Street, Cocoa, FL 32927.
