She was educated at The Haddo Primary School and Knockalva Technical High School. Pauline loved sports. She participated in track and field and netball through her high school years.
Pauline grew up in a Christian family and as a child she attended church and was baptized in The Church of God of Prophesy in her adolescent years.
Pauline was a hardworking individual. In her earlier years of life she worked at a clothing factory as a sewing machine operator for over 15 years. Upon the closing of the clothing factory she then obtained a job as a porter at the emergency department of The Cornwall Regional Hospital in which she worked for 5 years.
In the pursuit for a better life she immigrated to The United States in 2005 and she became a US citizen in 2018. She worked various jobs. Pauline liked helping people so she took courses and became a Certified Nursing Assistant. This prompted her to seek employment at The Palm Cottage Assisted Living Facility, she worked there for over 8 years where she was still employed up until the time of her illness. She was a very caring individual that cared for her patients as if they were her own family.
Pauline loved her siblings and family and would go the extra mile for them. She would make herself available at times when you need her. She was also not afraid to let you know how she felt about things and would give you a piece of her mind.
Pauline formed a bond with Leroy Henry for over 10 years and in 2016 they were joined together in marriage. Pauline and Leroy loved the Lord and they both attended God's House of Refuge Church for many years and in 2016 they became ordained Deacon and Deaconess and she continued to be an active member.
On October 13, 2018 Pauline went to be with her Lord. She will join her mother Prudence, father Charles, brother Danovan and maternal grandmother Gertude.
Pauline leaves to mourn her husband, Leroy Henry; brothers, Paul Johnson, Basil Brown; sisters, Judith Brown, Corrine Brown and Nadeen Brown-Virgo; daughter, Laytoya Hill and children; sister-in-laws, brother-in law, nieces, nephews, cousin, friends, co-workers, church family and other relatives.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home, 5475 North U.S. Highway 1, Cocoa, FL. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 1:00 pm at God's House of Refuge, 1543 Cocoa Blvd, Cocoa, FL.
