Peg was my friend from UF. We both were journalism majors back in 1980 during the first phase of her college career. I finished before her but she was one of my friends who helped me navigate college life. I only spoke with her and corresponded with her several times after she left Gainesville but was always happy when we did. She was a bright and thoughtful person who always was full of life. I missed her spirit over the years and sad to hear of her passing. My best to her friends and family. PS. The college picture of Peg in front of the j-school from the family is one I remember as I believe I took of her during a photojournalism essay on her.

Peggy, you were such a sweet person. We didn't hang in with the same people, but we would talk when you came into the Dog Gone Grocery Store with your mom. I always like you because you were so warm. I always considered you my friend. The world will be a little darker because you are not in it.

Peggy sold us our condo at Island Pointe on Merritt Island seven years ago, and we haven't forgotten how well she treated us through what is always a stressful process no matter how many times one goes through it.  We stayed in touch periodically after that, and she would occasionally bring us fresh-picked lemons from her home.  She was a kind and gentle soul who will surely be missed greatly by family and friends.

Peggy you will be very missed by all of your friends, family and co-workers. I will remember your laugh, the way you carried yourself and the courage you showed those around you. Thank you for being my friend.

Peggy and I were friends from Junior High through to the present. She was always both a dreamer and a doer. She was an artist, a musician, a desginer, a poet, a mother, a best friend, a daughter, a Christian. She knew and kept all of my secrets, all of my confidences all of my dreams. 

She loved all of her family especially her sons so dearly and wanted only the best happiest lives for them. 

Peggy I love you, I miss you I know you are in heaven.

Life can be taken at such a young age, but the memories that were created during that time will always be cherished! Peggy was such a caring & giving person to those around her, she will be greatly missed by many!! RIP XO
