A native of Detroit, Michigan, Phyllis moved to Florida in 1965 from Slidell, LA. She was of the Protestant faith. Phyllis put her family first and she devoted her life to her husband and children.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Eugene Gardner; five children: Suzanne Gardner, Steven Gardner, Sandy Chaganis, Randy Gardner, and Sean Gardner; sister, Janet Wood; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Thursday, October 8, 2015 from 2-3PM followed by a service at 3PM at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home.
