Phyllis will be most remembered for her laughter, cheerful outlook on life and devotion to her family. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and gardening as well as deep-sea fishing, country music and volunteer work at the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks.
Though she leaves behind her sister, Clara Smith; her daughter, Deborah Ramsten; her sons Edward and Allen Newman; her grand children Twila, Robert, Seth and Sarah and her great grand children Savanah, Paige, Jordan and Khristian, she is reunited with her beloved husband “Cotter”.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 15th beginning at 1:00 PM at the Brevard Memorial Funeral Home, 5475 N. US 1, Cocoa, Fl., 321-636-3720. A service of celebration will follow at 2:30 PM with the burial immediately after.
