My fondest memories of Rick were mostly all centered around the times when I was in choir for many years, and Rick served as an usher for our Christmas and Easter programs. He greeted the guests and welcomed them to our church with so much enthusiasm. I’ll always remember his smiling face.
My other memory of him most recently was when he called in to our class and Lee put him on speakerphone so that he could talk with the class. He was so anxious to get well enough to return and worship with us. We will miss him.

Rick was always there for me and my family. Didn't matter the time of day or night, I was always welcome. He spent many hours counseling me through some of life's hardest moments, along with Darla. Of course there are many more memories of the fun times we had just hanging out. I will never forget you, your wisdom, your loving kindness, or the way you and Darla made me a part of your family. Rest in peace now with Scott! I will always love you!
