Robert D. Reynolds born July 15, 1927, in Doddsville, Mississippi, to George Matthew and Ora Virginia West Reynolds, passed away June 12,2024, in Titusville, Florida, after a long illness with his heart.
He served his country in the Navy, was in World War II and worked on Cape Canaveral on the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo missions. He was a supervisor for many years with McDonnell Douglas. He was a Master Mason, serving for 70 years. He was preceded in death by his wife Estelle Reynolds and son Cecil Reynolds.
A loving father, grandfather, uncle and friend to many. He is survived his daughter, Patricia, her daughter Karen and Karen’s children Kyra, Raymond and KJ. Survivors also include Cecil’s children, Wanda and Randy and Randy’s children, Hannah, Jeremiah Glen, and Luke Charles.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Tuesday June 18, 2024, at Wylie Baxley Funeral Home, 1360 North Courtenay Parkway, Merritt Island, Florida. Visitation will start at 10:00 am. Services will be officiated by Robert’s nephew, Mickey Reynolds.
