Robert Frank Teachout

Mr. Teachout was united in holy matrimony to his wife, Mildred. To this union four sons were born: James, Raymond, Ronald, and Timothy.

Mr. Teachout was a member of the United States Army where he served in World War II. Upon his discharge, he supported his family as a welder.

In his spare time, Mr. Teachout enjoyed working in his yard and had a great passion for fishing.

He is preceded in death by his wife, his brother Phillip, and his four sons.

Mr. Teachout’s granddaughter, Melody, provided care around the clock for him when his health began to fail. The Hospice of St. Francis Reflections also provided comfort care for Mr. Teachout. He passed away peacefully at his home in Titusville, Florida on August 24, 2024, at the age of 101 years old.

He leaves to cherish his memory always: a devoted granddaughter, Melody; three great granddaughters, Asha, Zanya, and Nakayla; one great great granddaughter, Tayviana; a sister, June Youmans.

A visitation for Robert will be held Friday, September 6, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home, 1360 N Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island, FL 32953. Following the visitation will be a graveside service from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Brevard Memorial Park, 320 Spring St, Cocoa, FL 32927.
