She is well known for her hospitality, and as the “best cook ever!” She had Christian meetings in her home for 24 years with anywhere from 25 to 60 in attendance. They had speakers come each week sometimes from a distance. And she cooked for everyone who came each week. She was also a member of Frontenac Baptist Church, Heart of the Father of Brevard, and her Thursday morning Bible Study Group.
Ruby was an amazing pillar of determination, strength, and faith. She had, as her doctor said, “As great a faith as he had ever seen!” She had an ever present love for time with family and friends and was known by many as their favorite!
