Shannon Lee Pollard Dearaujo was born in Cocoa, Florida on April 17, 1976 to Elmer Lewis Pollard and Wanda Louise McCachren Brendle Pollard. She was the youngest daughter of a lovingly blended family - sisters Dawn Pollard Mackey and Launa Brendle Young, and brother Larry Jay Brendle II.
Shannon was an essential medical professional with lifelong work in primary care, geriatrics, and ophthalmology.
She was preceded in death by parents Wanda and Lou Pollard, her Aunt Nancy Grover, and her nephew Paul Mackey. She is survived by her children Wanda Brinn Deajaujo and Evan Clay Dearaujo; her sisters Dawn and Launa; her brother Larry; her nieces Tara Young and Ashley Cappola; her nephews Brandon Young, Jacob Young, Zack Brendle, Aidan Brendle; her great nieces Ainsley Cappola and Alivia Mackey; her great nephew Brady Cappola.
The celebration of Shannon's life will be held Saturday, 10/17/2026 at 3PM at Life Event Center at Cocoa Memorial Park in Cocoa FL.
