Shirley Ruth Mckee

Shirley was born August 10, 1935, to Johnny and Grace Bloom.

Our mother grew up in Holcomb, Mississippi, with four brothers, Charles, Jerry, Julian, and John Bloom and one sister, Dorothy Maxey.

She married in 1952 and raised four daughters, Vivian Mahoney, (Don), Rose McFadden (Doug), Johnnie Davis (Steve), Robin Duch, (John).

In 1982 she married Preston McKee, they retired and moved to Cocoa, Florida. They enjoyed retirement while fishing and swimming at Patrick

Air Force Base Beach.

Mother was a Christian woman, she loved her church family, especially the "Four No More Group". Mother was a loyal wife and generous

to all that knew her.

In 1975, she became a grandmother to her darling granddaughter Carmen Gatlin followed by three handsome grandsons, Dustin Gatlin, Matthew Pyles,

and Garrett Morman, also a great grandmother to beautiful Philicity Cullen (Matthew), and precious Mackenzie Clough.

We will miss our beloved mother though the stars in Heaven will shine brighter with her presence.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 2 o'clock at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home, 5475 N. U.S. Highway # 1, Cocoa, Florida.
