

Roger was born on October 12, 1961, in Conway, South Carolina, to Marva Dean Holden and the late Tillman Wilson Holden. A retired truck driver Roger, spent many years on the road, but he was best known by family and friends for his deep passion for cooking. He was the creative mind and talent behind his signature sauces and seasonings, proudly branded as "Ain’t-R-Good"—a name that perfectly captured his flavor and spirit.
Roger was preceded in death by his father, Tillman Wilson Holden, and his great-grandson, Kaizynn Green.
Roger is survived by his beloved spouse, Marsha Causey; his mother, Marva Dean Holden; mother-in-law Pat Potts (late Bobby Potts) and his sister, Sandra Martin (LarryBo). His legacy lives on through his children: daughter Ashley Parker, daughter Sonni Holden (Nicholas), daughter Mindy Edwards (Stephen), son Corey Causey (Maria), and his beloved nieces Brittany Powell (Jeremy), and Kimmie Anderson (Danny). He is also survived by his great nephew and great niece who will be arriving in 2026.
He leaves behind a large and loving extended family, including many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins who will cherish his memory. He was the proud grandfather of seven grandchildren: Christian Holden, Wade Holden, Walker Holden, William Edwards, Beverly Edwards, Landon Bunker, and Brett Bunker. He is also survived by his great-grandson, Zaidynn Green.
Visitation will be held at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home, 1360 N Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island, FL 32953, on July 16, 2026, at 10:00 am with the Funeral to follow at 11:00 am. Live stream will be available at https://youtube.com/live/wFb89MgclFQ.
A Committal Service will be at Cocoa Memorial Park and Cremation Gardens, 320 Spring Street, Cocoa, FL 32927 at 12:30 pm.
