Prayers for Lorraine during this heartbreaking time. Virgil was a wonderful person who loved her more than anything. We knew him from church. He was passionate, and a very hard worker. So sorry we could not attend yesterday. May God comfort you. Sincerely, Kathy

Mr. Brown,
There are too many memories to count. However, the one that stands out the most is when you came all the way to Tennessee to pick me and Pam up from college. You didn’t lecture us about us wanting to leave college and go to college in Florida, instead you made us feel at ease that everything would work out, and it did. Your family, is my family, and I will always be so grateful for that. We love you and will miss all your stories.

Love,
Melody and Jeff

I had the honor to know Virgil through our church at IRCUMC. I remember him helping out at church on many things over the years. He was always a gentleman and a dapper dresser! After Lorraine had to go to the nursing home I visited Virgil at home on a few occasions and we always had wonderful conversations about life and the hereafter. Even when I visited him he always had his tie on and a smile on his face. When I went to see Lorraine I always let her know he was thinking of her. Lorraine is so sweet she always asked me about my wife as they got to know each other back when we all attended services together. Just wanted the family to know he will always be remembered fondly as we celebrate his life! Mike and Kathie Spivey
