A MESSAGE FROM THE FAMILY
Honor your family, friend, neighbor, former colleague or teammate, and/or acquaintance by joining his family on June 30 at Waverly Glen Park, Pavilion Glen #3 (near the tennis court), as they share stories, pictures and memories of Wesley I Perry. Please feel free to bring a dish or drink to pass. (Alcohol permit has been purchased for this event.) We ask that guests bring a picture to drop in the memory box to share with his widow and children. Guests are encouraged to write down a story or memory on the memory cards provided or share aloud with the group. Our wish is to learn more about this man who built connections with so many different people and to continue his legacy of positively affecting and challenging those he knew best. For those unable to attend, please feel free to post a memory (good or otherwise) and pictures. The afternoon will consist of honoring his memory with stories (both lighthearted and serious), getting reacquainted with those who knew him and enjoying a good laugh, a good cry, and maybe some good grub! In recognition of his 23 years of military service, the Honor Guard has been requested for the rendering of Military Funeral Honors. Please share this event with others you are connected with who may have known him and let us know if we will see you at the Glen.
