Ernest Ernie W. Millard

85 of Coldwater passed away June 18, 2016. He was born April 11, 1931 to Charles and Olive Davis Millard. Ernie graduated from Tekonsha High School in Tekonsha, MI. He married Amanda (Davis) Millard July 7, 1951. He served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Leary. He was retired from Kroger Grocery Store in Coldwater, MI. He was also a member of the Gideons International.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Putnam Funeral Home, 11 E. Chicago St, Coldwater, MI and on June 23, 2016 from 11:00 am until the time of memorial service at 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church, 914 N. Main St, Tekonsha, MI.

Ernie is survived by his daughters, Valarie Millard-Combs (Craig) and Regina Frailey; son, Lee Millard (Stacy); special nephew, Paul Millard; granddaughters, Laura, Lisa, Amanda, Lydia, Angela, Hannah; great-granddaughters, Katie, Allison, Madisyn, Londyn, Lucy, and Emma; grandsons, Andrew, Jonathon, Daniel; great-grandsons, Christian, Timothy, and Troy; and many, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Amanda Millard; both parents; daughter Cindy Millard Dunn; son, David Millard; granddaughter, Sara Millard; grandsons, Shawn Blansit and Brian Blansit; sisters Esther Keller and Ruth Hempstead; and brothers Fred, George, Joe, and Marvin Millard.
