John was a quiet and private man who enjoyed the outdoors. He will be missed by his family.
He is survived by a brother, Fritz (Kathie) Strassburger, nieces; Dawn Barnes, Sarah (Terry) Sweet, Julie Strassburger, 3 great nieces and 1 great nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial service will take place Monday, February 8, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Putnam Funeral Home in Coldwater. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
