Joyce L. Glispy

Joyce graduated from Coldwater High School with the class of 1950 and had resided in and around Coldwater all of her life. In 1952 she married Dale Rouse of New Castle, IN. He preceded her in death in 1973. They had two sons, Gary L. Rouse who also preceded her in death and Timothy D. (Teri) Rouse of Corinth, TX who still survives. In 1981 she married Arlen L. Glispy and he survives. She is also survived by her step children, Vicki L. Kohler of Coldwater and Arlen L. Glispy, Jr of Union City. Five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive.

Joyce was employed by the State of Michigan at the Coldwater Regional Center for thirty years, retiring in 1985. Joyce attended the Coldwater Wesleyan Church for most of her life and recently attended the Good News Bible Church. She was an avid Detroit Tigers fan, enjoyed going to the Burnside Center, the Gospel Barn and working in her back yard. She loved fishing and going for boat rides.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-6pm at the Putnam Funeral Home in Coldwater. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00am with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the Putnam Funeral Home. Pastor Kenneth Bilsborrow will officiate and burial will take place in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Coldwater. Memorial contributions may be given to the Good News Bible Church
