M. David Young

M. David Young, 87, of Coldwater, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013. He was born November 19, 1925 in Coldwater to William and Minnie (Dickensheet) Young. He married Twilight Gregory on May 8, 1953 in Quincy. She survives.

David was a 1944 graduate of Quincy High School. He played football and loved to bowl. He and his wife belonged to the Coldwater Country Club for 20 years. David was a recreation supervisor at the former Coldwater State Home. He retired in 1983.

David is survived by his wife; Twilight, 1 daughter; Twila (Tom) Henry of Pensacola, FL, 2 grandchildren; Jamie (Dan) Nichols of Coldwater, Jason (Paige) Wood of Indianapolis, IN, 4 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to the Branch County District Library or the Branch County Humane Society.
