Michelle Lee Kaufman

Michelle Kaufman, age 46 of Simpsonville, South Carolina and formerly of Coldwater, passed away December 7, 2016 at the Hospice of Upstate in Anderson, South Carolina surrounded by her loved ones. Michelle was born in Coldwater on November 14, 1970 to Franklin and Linda Blair Russell.

Michelle is survived by the love of her life, Noel Kaufman of Simpsonville, South Carolina, her two beloved children, Brandon and Cameron Kaufman both of Simpsonville, her mother, Linda Blair Russell of Coldwalter, her mother-in-law, Cathy Kaufman of Coldwater, her brothers, Dain Russell and Andy Colbeck both of Coldwater.

For the past 12 years, Michelle had fought a very long hard battle with brain cancer. Her family is what made her keep going. The love she had for her family and friends transcends life itself.

Michelle was preceded in death by her grandparents, Leroy and Blanche Blair, James and Eunice Hayes, her father, Franklin Russell and her grandson, Cohen Kaufman.

A celebration of Michelle’s life will be on Saturday, December 17, 2016 with a gathering of friends and family from 1PM until the service at 2PM at the Putnam Funeral Home, 11 E. Chicago St., Coldwater, MI
