Ruth A. Fox Booth

She attended Chicago Evangelistic Institute and Michigan State University. She worked in the Michigan State University cataloging department for five and a half years. She also was a Union City High School Librarian aide, and Middle School Librarian for nineteen and a half years.

She married Harold C. Fox on February 23, 1952. He died June 30, 1987. They had four children, Rebecca (Greg) Johnson of Kalamazoo, Roger (Cheryl) Fox of Grand Rapids, Cindy (Tony) Troup of Waterloo, IL and Ronald (Sandy) Fox of Battle Creek. She leaves ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren, and a sister Alice Dean of Hastings.

She married William A. Booth on November 30, 1996. He died on July 12, 2004.

Her parents, a twin sister, a sister Jean Chaffin and a brother Leonard Wood also preceded her in death.

Visitation will be Friday April 10 from 6-8 pm at the Putnam Funeral Home in Union City. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the service that will be held at 11:00am Saturday April 11, 2015 from the Union City United Methodist Church. Pastor Andy Baek will officiate. Memorial contributions may be given to the Union City United Methodist Church.
