

Theo D. Davis, 85, of Coldwater, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Masonville House in Coldwater. Theo was born February 22, 1929 in Battle Creek to Chester and Zoe (Ralph) Davis. He married Norma Jean Langs, she survives.
Theo was an U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He farmed most of his life and worked at the following locations, Clark Equipment, American Fire Apparatus, Water lift of Kalamazoo and he owned and operated a body shop in Leonidas. Theo was a 4H leader, he participated in FFA and in his younger years did tractor pulling. He enjoyed building wooden rocking horses and animals. He enjoyed going to auctions and bowling.
He is survived by his wife, Norma, two daughters; Pam (Dale) Zurakowski of Grand Haven, Patti (Doug) Kloosterman of Mendon, three sons; Delbert Davis of Union City, George (Teresa) Davis of Burlington, Doug (Theresa) Davis of Union City, 20 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, two sisters; Ruth Heyser of Middlebury, IN and Vivian Goldsmith of Honea Path, SC. Theo was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son, Michael, 3 brothers, Ralph, Charles and Deo.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 18, 2015 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Putnam Funeral Home in Union City. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, January 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Union City United Methodist Church with Pastor Rob Hughes and Pastor Andy Baek officiating. Interment will be Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Ft Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI.
