William Lee Squires

William Lee Squires, 78 of Coldwater, passed away April 23, 2016 at the Community Health Center of Branch County, after a short illness. He was born April 14, 1938 in Union Township, OH to William S. and Virginia Helen (Miller) Squires.

Bill lived most of his life around the Coldwater area moving here in 1956. He was a mig welder at Yukon Manufacturing in Litchfield and he worked at Squires Buffing. He enjoyed horse pulling and breaking horses. He was a Godly man who read the Bible.

He is survived by his children, Martin Squires and Patricia Squires both of Coldwater, 3 granddaughters, Jessie, Heather and Heidi, brothers, Harry and Bob and sisters, Mary and Audrey. He was preceded in death by his brother, Tom and his son David.

Services will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with two hours of visitation prior to the service at the East Gilead Missionary Church with Pastor Harry Squires officiating. Interment will follow at the East Gilead Cemetery.
