I just learned of Mr. Trawick’s passing. I am saddened by the news of his loss and my heartfelt condolences go out to his beautiful wife  Joanne, and the family. I had the pleasure of meeting both Mr. & Mrs. Trawick a few years back when I rediscovered Aularale Cosmetics. Al was not going to let me leave their presence without becoming a Beauty Consultant. He was gentle, yet persuasive. His passion for the company rang out in his conversations.  His contributions to the beauty industry have made a lasting impact.  Truly he will be missed.

To the family of AL Trawick, I just learned of Al's passing while looking for information on a family friend that recently passed away. 

I was an Alurale Cosmetics Beauty Consultant before the name was changed.  Al and Joanne were wonderful company owners and leaders. Al was very humble and kind spirited. I remember the many meetings and events. 

I still use the product line. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

One of my most memorable moments with Al Trawick was receiving my award as one of the Beauty Consultant of the Year 2014 which was the 30th Anniversary Year for Aularale Skin Care and Cosmetics.  Although I did not place 1st, it was an honor to place!!!  I thank Al for his "YOU CAN DO IT" motivational spirit and his 'no respecter of persons' attitude =>We were ALL special as Aularale Beauty Consultants and he did his best so we could be our best!  Thank you Joanne  and Brandon for sharing him with all of us.  I shall continue to keep the Trawick family in my prayers for great vision and accomplishments ahead with strength, love and peace.  May  Al's Legacy live on with exuberant success as the Aularale Family forges on in the spirit of unity and victory for all! Keep the vision in view and press on.   When we see him again, even though this earthly business will have no significance at that time, we can say...we too, fought a good fight and rejoice together in the Heavenly City!!! I was so hurt and surprised to hear about Al passing.  The Lord has taken away a good shepherd. Al will be greatly missed by so many people. He touched so many lives in such a positive way. 

He was a true friend, and so delightful to talk with about business and so encouraging. He would always say “Keep up the good work Paulette, you got it”. He was loved and looked up to by so many.

MY MEMORY OF AL

Alton Trawick, Al. I first met Joanne Trawick at the Washington Hilton in 1989 at a convention where I was selling another product. She spoke passionately about how she and her husband were “building a wholly owned Black company” from the ground up. I was sold already but what cemented my commitment to Aularale was witnessing the cohesion, the unity of spirit and purpose that existed between Al and Joanne. Al Trawick, erudite, gifted with a top notch acumen in business, but for me what made him absolutely special was his ability to communicate with people from all walks of life, social strata and the like. Al was a “people” person, and skillfully utilized this talent to further the growth of the company. He was a patient man. The countless hours on the phone discussing business strategies, sharing a laugh, entertaining at my home in southern Maryland, sweet potato pies, ………. Jo, I will always be here for you, and thank you for sharing Al with me and us all.

I was hurt to hear that Al had passed.  He was the most positive person I have ever met in my life.  He always had kind words no matter how long it had been since he saw me.  As part of the Aularale family I knew he always wanted me to succeed.  My sympathy goes out to Joanne and Brandon and the family.  I will keep you in my prayers and I know that Jehovah God will comfort you during this time.    John 5:28, 29 -  Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.  Rev. 21:3,4 - With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them.4  And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
