She was born in Albany, Georgia on October 7, 1967 to the late Waymond Sanders, Sr & Mercedes Williams Sanders.
Cynthia confessed Christ at an early age under the spiritual guidance of the late Rev. R.B. Smith Sr. at the St. James Baptist Church in Baconton, Georgia.
Cynthia was a 1985 graduate of Mitchell-Baker High School in Camilla, Georgia and pursued further educational goals at Clark College in Atlanta, Georgia. She was united in holy matrimony to Michael Milburn on February 24, 2006.
Cynthia dedicated over fifteen (15) years of public service to the students and faculty at Emory University Police Department, where she served as a 911 Emergency Operator.
Cynthia was creative and loved decorating; listening to good music; spending time with her nieces & nephews; shopping and traveling.
Cynthia is survived by her spouse, Michael Milburn; a loving and caring daughter, Maya Mercedes Sanders Foster of College Park, Georgia; a devoted mother, Mercedes Sanders of Baconton, Georgia; two (2) sisters, Jacqueline Sanders of Fairburn, Georgia and Beverly Morman of Powder Springs, Georgia; three (3) brothers, Waymond (Emily) Sanders, Jr. of Kennesaw, Georgia; Joe Alan (Sharon) Sanders, Sr. of Fairburn, Georgia; Kelvinald Sanders of Fairburn, Georgia; a special nephew, Ahmad Rashad Daniels of Union City, Georgia; and a host of loving and supportive nieces, nephews, aunts & uncles and extended family members.
