

Erby Walker, Jr. was born March 29, 1963 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Erby Walker, Sr. and Maggie Kay Walker. He joined Greater Bethel AME Church in his young adult years and made sure his children were active in church activities.
Erby was married to Connie Johnson. To this union, one child was born.
Lil’ Erby, as he was affectionately known, was a “jokester”, he was always making family and friends laugh.
He was a product of the Atlanta Public School System, attending Ben Hill Elementary School and D.M. Therrell High School. As a child, Erby was a Ben Hill Tiger, and sang in the D.M. Therrell Chorus throughout his high school years. Erby enjoyed working in the food service industry. During his high school years, he worked at Hardee’s in Greenbriar Mall. Later he followed his father’s footsteps and was employed with the Varsity and the Varsity, Jr. He was employed at Checker’s KFC and the City of Chamblee. Erby’s bout with Huntington's Disease caused him to retire early from active employment.
Following the effects of Huntington’s Disease, the Lord called Lil’ Erby home to join his father, Erby Walker, Sr., his mother, Maggie Kay Walker, his sisters, Rhonda Erbette Walker, Martha Renee’ Walker, Jennifer Allen and many other loved ones. He entered a sweet and eternal, rest on March 7, 2016. He leaves to cherish his memory, LaToya DeShawn Walker Morrow (Devon), Christopher Dewberry, Shun Walker, Nicholas Walker; and Erby Walker, III; 8 grandchildren, Kaylie Alise Morrow, Kasey Andrea Morrow, Sandarrian Dominique Walker, Kendarrian William Walker, KeAsiha Denise Stanley, Nariyah Bernadette Walker, and Treyvion Martrice Colbert; sisters and brothers, Electra Walker Evans (McArthur), Yasmin Walker, Dirk Walker, Sr., Shawn Walker, Keysler Walker, Derry Walker, Sr. (Miri), Tangia Walker and Anissa Walker Thompson (Akinlana); dear and special aunt, Doris Connally, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and an host of other relatives and friends. A Funeral service will be held on Saturday March 12,2016 at 12:00pm At Forest lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens 5755 Mallory Rd. College Park GA 30349. The Family will receive friends from 11:00am until the hour of service.
