Annie was born on October 18, 1934 in Kassel, Germany. She was the second of four children of Heinrich and Hedwig Trube.
Annie is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Willi and Gunter Trube, her husband Joel Hardee and son-in-law Luis Vazquez. She gained her wings the same day as her oldest daughter, Petra Hardee Mote.
She is survived by her brother Herbert (Ingrid) Trube; daughters Barbara Vazquez, Jeanette Hardee, Diana Hardee Williams; grandchildren Jason (Blessie) Gamble, Dustin (Danielle) Mote, Jasmin Williams (her loving caretaker), Cornell Pierce, Jr., and Christopher Mickens, II; great-grandchildren Cameron Gamble, Jason Gamble, Jr., Lorelei Mote, and Bella Pierce; son-in-law Andrew Mote, brother-in-law Willie Hardee; and several nephews and their families in Germany.
Travel was her ultimate passion, she also enjoyed playing canasta, feeding hummingbirds, and caring for her dog Molly. Annie loved being part of a circle of friends who all migrated from Germany and shared a special bond, continuing the cultural tradition of Kaffee Klatsches. She was a wonderful Mother, Oma, Uhr-Oma and friend. Although our hearts are broken over this tragic loss, we are at ease now that she’s resting peacefully. We love you Mom.
