James Calvin Anderson

James Calvin Anderson was born on June 22, 1948, in Fort Pierce, Florida to Maggie Anderson and the late Christopher Anderson, Sr. James was a resident of St Lucie County. After attending Lincoln Park Academy, he enlisted in the United States Army and was honorably discharged at the rank of Private.

On April 30th, 1971, he married Virginia Grace Sams. Born to James and Virginia were three children, James Calvin Anderson, Jr., Christine Anderson & Sharon Anderson.

On December 7, 2019 His spirit went to heaven and was received by our Lord Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his father, Christopher Anderson, Sr.; sister, Veronica Anderson, brothers, Ricky G. Anderson, Andrew L. Anderson, Alphonso T. Anderson. Also, his ex-wife, Virginia Grace Anderson, and children; James Calvin Anderson, Jr., Christine Anderson, and Sharon Anderson.

Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Maggie Anderson; siblings, Samuel V. (Nadine) Brown, Lena Anderson, Christopher (Cynthia T.) Anderson, Van J. (Gail) Anderson, Golden L. Anderson, Sandra (Maurice) Fluellen, Jonathan (Eula) Anderson, Darrell (Sharnet) Anderson, and Cynthia (Dave) Harvey; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, lifelong friends and special friends of note.

Other relatives left to hold his memory close to their hearts include; Cecil (Stephanie) Rolle, Latoya (Demetrius) Wilson, Virginia (Alvin) Walker, Jeanette (Paris) McKenzie Tamesha Anderson, Nyeisha Anderson, Sharesa Anderson, Kimberly Wheeler Anderson, Christopher Campbell, Truth Campbell, Jakima Anderson, and a host of other relatives and great-grandchildren.

James also leaves his love and joyful memories to his friends in Fort Pierce, Florida, along with others he came to know in Atlanta, Georgia.

We will miss him dearly…
