Jesse was a devoted single father to his beloved daughter, Patricia Elizabeth, known as Libby, until he met Alice Jacobs in Detroit. In 1974, Jesse and Alice married, blending their families into one with three children.
Jesse worked for many years as a bus driver for Atlanta Public Schools. He was also an avid square dancer and caller for over 40 years, as a member of Caller Lab of GA bringing joy and rhythm to countless gatherings.
On December 23, 2024, God called Jesse home, granting him eternal rest. He leaves behind his cherished wife, Alice; daughters Patricia and Cheryl; son Randall; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Jesse’s warmth, kindness, and love will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
