I would like to offer my sincere consolation regarding the loss of Joedell Murray. He was always pleasant and kind, a great person to be around. I pray that the peace of God offers you comfort as you deal with the loss of such a kind-hearted person.

Seasons change, and nothing stays the same …. We don’t recollect how empowering , substantial  and strong memories are, until we are prompted to get ahold of them .  God is great  and He is worthy to be praised . The only way we don’t get God’s revelation and direction is when we faint ! Press on family, God is a healer and know that the Will of God can’t take you anyplace , that the Grace of God can’t keep you ! Be encouraged ! God will take care of you . Jodell will be missed !  I remember him , ( the late) Thalia,   and their children back during the Open Door days on Roosevelt Highway - where it was like the only way anybody else could get in, was through the roof . Sending my condolences to the family. Joedell worked with me on the dock and we had the best conversations about our kids. The kids have since graduated  but I still miss those conversations…the memories

I remember Jodell my deepest condolences 💐 he was a Good friend of my Sister and Brother at Westlake High School we stayed a street over Marlena Was a really good friend of mine I stayed at her house. I found this in my photos, you doing something you loved singing. (at my dads retirement) almost 20 years of friendship you will truly be missed.

I would first like to say that I’m deeply saddened by the passing of my friend Joedell. I will always remember that smile you would have every time I would see you. You were a kind and soft spoken man and you will truly be missed. I especially will miss that beautiful voice of yours and how you had that passion for singing. Rest easy Murrrrrray.

I would like to start by sending my condolences to the family. I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't count how many times I've began to type something just to delete it. I just can't find the words to say. I'm truly sadden at the reality that I can no longer hear your voice  or see that grand smile. You were a bundle of love, a genuine spirit, and a beam of light to those around you. You were like a father to my brother and I. I will never forget all you've done and the love you extended to my family. You are truly missed and forever loved! 

I'm going to miss you my friend. You will always be remembered for the uncondiitional love you showed to those around you. Keeping the entire family in my prayers.  I posted a previous message, but ran across this old photo. 

I’m saddened, by the news of Jodell Murray’s passing. I hadn’t send Jodell since the day we graduated from Westlake in 1993. Always a laid back, cool brother, sporting muscles and a high top fade. Serious young man but always a had a smile and a nice word to keep my day going well. You’ll be missed Jodell.

I don’t have the words to express how sorry I am to hear about the loss of Joedell. He was truly an incredible man, full of kindness, sincerity, and joy. He will be immensely missed. To the Murray family, may you take comfort in the love of friends and family during this difficult time. Please accept my heartfelt sympathies and prayers.

You touched everyone’s life that you met with your gentle ways, kind heart, warm smile…and of course, that beautiful singing voice. You were a part of our family for a very long time.  Our fond memories of you will live in our hearts forever.

My condolences to the entire family. I'm so sorry for your loss. Joedell will be highly missed.  During our last conversation about a year ago. We caught up on life and what we both had going on. It was good to hear from Joedell. Never would I  have thought I would be saying my final goodbye this way. My heart is deeply sadden and broken. I wish I could turn back time and change all of this. I love you my friend. This one will be a hard one to get through.
