Judy C Smith

Judy was born on July 17, 1953, in Aragon, Georgia, to Tiney M. Campbell and Eva Hopper Campbell. She graduated from O'Keefe High School in Atlanta with the Class of 1971. On July 17, 1971, she married her high school sweetheart, Robert L. Smith Jr., and they shared 45 years of marriage together. They were blessed with two sons, Brandon and David. Judy retired early from Unum Mutual Insurance in 1996. For over 30 years, she was a faithful member of Rock Springs Baptist Church in Morrow, Georgia. One of her greatest joys was playing Scrabble with her sisters at family gatherings and special occasions.

Judy was called home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on May 28, 2026, at the home of her son Brandon in Zebulon, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Smith Jr.; her parents, Tiney and Eva Campbell; and her siblings, Inez Eason, Louise Bryson, Josephine Payne, Phillip Campbell, Danny Campbell, and Denise Gainer.

She is survived by her son Brandon and his wife, Adrianna, and their children, William, Regan, and Ellie; her son David; her sisters, Annette Daniel (Dan), Martha Elrod (Stanley), and Sheila Hipps; her brother, Fred Campbell (Jo); and a cherished host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

The words she lovingly spoke to her children and grandchildren will forever echo in their hearts:

"I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck."

"Good night, God bless you, sweet dreams, and I love you."
