Katie Mae Wiggins

Katie Mae Jackson Wiggins was the baby of thirteen children born to Mr. Ed Flem Jackson and Mrs. Louise Woodard Jackson on January 19, 1947 in Ben Hill County, Fitzgerald Georgia, both of whom preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by: Lottie Mae Jackson Walker, Eva Neil Jackson, Louise Jackson, Evelyn Wilcox, Willie Jackson, Henry Jackson, Isaiah Jackson, Moses Jackson, Dorothy Jackson, W. D. Jackson and James T. Jackson.

She attended Monitor High School where she was she was a talented basketball player. She regularly attended New Covenant Baptist Church located in Atlanta Georgia.

Katie Mae as she was affectionately called leaves to cherish her memory her two sons; Deon (Delbri) Jackson and Michael (Pamela) Wiggins, both of Atlanta Georgia; five grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; her only living sister, Sarah Ruth Freeman; brother in law Charles Walker; Pastor Anthony (Christine) Walker of Douglas, Georgia, Charles Walker Jr. of Dallas Texas, Teresa ( Jerrod) Robinson, Steven (Merrietta) Walker, Michelle(Dewayne) Walker, Demetrius (Carmella) Walker, Haywood (Cassandra) Jackson, Diane( Donelle) Stevens, Johnny Jackson, all of Fitzgerald Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
