

Lois Virginia Harris was born to the late Margaret Houston and John Gresham. She grew up in the Reynoldstown area of Atlanta, Georgia. The Lord called her home Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017. Lois attended David T. Howard High School. She worked several jobs throughtout her life. She joined Elizabeth Baptist Church at a young age under Reverend R.L. McKibben on Tattnall Street. She was an active member of the Golden Years Ministry. She later attended Nw Zion Baptist Church where she served on the Mother's Board. Dispite her disability, she always had a beautiful spirit, never let anything stop her from serving God and was always on the move. She is preceded in death by both parents, brothers, Don, James, and Maxie and sister Ellen. Her memory is cherished by her son Kelvin Andre Harris (Renee), longtime companion Roy Sanders, granddaughters, Kelsey McDaniel's and Kierria Link, brothers Deacon Robert Houston (Joyce) and Isaac Houston, sister Audra Gamble, nieces, Floretta Jackson (Arthur), Veronica Thomas, Sonja Houston, Kimberly Bryant (Jerome), nephews, Rodney Houston, Khory Gude and Isaac Gamble. Also a host of other relatives and very special of Elisabeth Baptist Church, New Zion Baptist Church and residents of Columbia Heritage.Funeral services will be held Friday, April21, 2017 at 11:00mam at Elisabeth Baptist Church 4245 Cascade Rd., Atlanta, GA 30331. Interment Forest Lawn memorial Gardens.
