Lorraine acquired her education in the public school system of Hamilton County in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a devoted member of her village no matter where she was located.
Lorraine started at Olive View hospital in Los Angeles County, worked in Dekalb County schools as an Educator in Georgia but ultimately retired from UPS in Atlanta, Georgia after 15 years of service.
Lorraine was known in her family for her sense of humor and passion for Life. She was often the life of the party. Non-traditional and always forward thinking, outside of the box. Truly a free spirit. She enjoyed children, shopping, and traveling. Lorraine often gave her heart to others but in particular, the youth. Her ability to connect with anyone, especially young people, will be sorely missed and her memory will be cherished by all she touched. Besides her own children, she took care of many others whether they were family, foster, adopted, neighborhood or village children. She did not mind correcting, guiding, and molding the children she met with unconditional love. She fed, housed, and clothed many. She motivated young people to never stop learning, keep education first, and there are no limits to your dreams. She will be truly missed but not forgotten.
