My family and I would like to extend our deep & heartfelt sympathies to Mayreais’ family. She was such a comforting support to us during my sister’s illness. She visited my sister, Michelle, for many years through several addresses to administer the holy eucharist when she was no longer able to attend Mass at Sts. Peter & Paul R.C. Church. Her quiet, gentle and caring manner was just what my sister needed. Knowing this gave our family consolation and peace of mind. She was a great example of Christian charity and love and I will always be grateful for her presence in our lives. I spoke with Mayreais a few months ago in the Fall to catch up and to thank her again. We spoke for quite a while about a variety of things. She was so easy to talk with. Undoubtedly, she will always be remembered by our family. To her husband and other family members left to mourn her loss, we are lifting you all up in perpetual prayer. Lady Mayreais, rest in eternal peace in the comforting embrace of Our Loving Father.

As a former church sister of Mayreais who last saw her when visiting my late sister Michelle McDonald I'll always remember her voice, calm manner and bright smile.
May she rest in Peace.

Mayreais was one of the first people I encountered at Sts. Peter & Paul Church 4 years ago. My family and I would sit behind her and her family every week for the first year I attended. Very pleasant and a woman of faith. I served on the alter with her and her husband and grandson many times as a Eucharistic Minister. She was always nice and friendly and we spoke all the time whenever I saw her. She always told me I was doing something right with my kids and she adored my son Adonis who is an alter server. She will truly be missed and I am praying for comfort and strength for the family. May she have Eternal Rest.

Mayreais was one of my 1st friends I met when I came to Atlanta in 1992. She heard me signing and came up to me and said "you need to join the choir" . She introduced me to Sister Alice and the rest was friendship for life. Praying for the family. She was such a good caring person. Be Blessed family. She is in God;s Hands now.
