Michael Sean Holmes

Michael Sean Holmes was born on October 27, 1985, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Lydia Holmes and Erin Sampson. Michael graduated from Mumford High School in Detroit, Michigan, and continued his education at Wiley College in Marshall, Texas. For two years, Michael was the Stage Manager for Encore Players at Wiley College and was the DJ at KBWC 91.1 FM Radio station. Michael joined Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Beta Chapter, Wiley College in 2008. He proudly served as a Level 1 Supervisor at American Airlines, a role he loved and cherished as his final position before his transition.

Preceded in death by Grandfather Robert Sampson, Great Grandmother Gwendylon “Coffee” Harper, and Great Grandfather David T. Harper, and cousin Aereka.

Michael's memories will be cherished by his parents, Lydia Officer-Meeks (Kelvin) and Erin Sampson (Katrina), his daughter Faith Holmes, 4 brothers: Isaiah Newbold, Daniel Newbold, Stephon Sampson, Jordan Officer, 3 sisters: Shemica Frazier, Alexis Officer, Erin Sampson, 2 adopted siblings: Rudy Pena and Trishawnna Lathem, Grandparents: Toni Grimmett (Carter), Valgene Holmes (Carol), Kathryn Sampson, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.
