Rochelle was born March 23, 1971 in Marrero, Louisiana to Rose Brenda Hubbard-Black and Royal Black, Sr. Even through her sickness Rochelle loved to sing and she had a voice like an angel. Rochelle also enjoyed coloring, making her own jewelry and shopping.
Rochelle is survived by son Stepfan Lamar Black; and son Tyrell Jamar Xavier Boyd (Candice); grandchildren Caleah, Tyrell Jr., and Zaire.
She was preceded in death by father Royal Black, Sr. and mother Rose Brenda Hubbard-Black.
