Rosa Elizabeth Glasgow, age 101, of Stockbridge, GA, the daughter of the late Martha and Wilfred Edwards, passed away on November 18, 2017. Rosa was born in St. Lucia, but lived in St. Vincent for most of her life and was a resident of the United States for the past 35 years.
She was a preceded in death by her husband, Edgar John Glasgow; son: Rudolph Glasgow; daughter: Veronica Constantine; and her sister: Doris Gordon.
She is survived by her son: Francis Glasgow; daughters: Agatha Stevens, and Merlene Lee; grandchildren: Kenneth, Shurland, Alicia, Samantha, Sandy, Matthew, Esther, Michele, Kemtal, Videl, Audrey, Natalie, and Andrew; and her great grandchildren: Kaleel, Lucas, Chloe, Emmett, Zoe, Hilary, Caleb, Mekhi, Amaya, Ava, and Pravi.
Rosa’s sisters are Elfreda Dowers and Elizabeth Vanlo.
Services will be held Saturday, December 2, 2017, 11:00 am at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 5755 Mallory Road, College Park, GA 30349, Minister Kemtal Glasgow officiating. Family will receive friends Friday, December 1, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Forest Lawn Chapel.
