Rosemary Bryant Hodo, 77, entered eternal rest on Monday, August 8, 2018. She was the youngest of six children born to the late Leroy and Sadie Bryant in Miami, Florida. Her siblings, brothers; Leroy Jr., Jackie and Alphonzo; and sisters; Maxine and Betty, all proceeded her in death.
Rosemary received her early education in the Miami public school system and graduated from the High School of Commerce in Springfield, Massachusetts. Rosemary began her career in 1962 working for the Federal Government in Washington, D.C. Later, Rosemary relocated to Atlanta, Georgia to continue her 32-year career with the Federal Government, retiring from Ft. McPherson, Georgia in 1994.
Rosemary lived most of her adult life in Jonesboro, Georgia. She was a member of Hillside Truth Center in Atlanta, GA, and most recently she was a member Divine Faith Ministries International of Jonesboro, GA. Rosemary’s faith led to her to join Divine Faith’s ministry, Joseph’s Warehouse, which assists the physical and spiritual needs of her immediate community.
Rosemary is survived by her three sons; Mark Hodo of Jonesboro, Georgia; Darrell (Julie) Hodo of Atlanta, Georgia; Jonath Hodo of Jonesboro, Georgia; and five grandchildren; Xiomara, India and Diego Hodo, of Mableton, Georgia; Maci and Darcee Hodo of Atlanta, Georgia; a devoted friend, Linda Davis, and a host of nieces and nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday August 11,2018 at 12:00pm Forest Lawn Funeral Home 5755 Mallory Rd College Park GA 30349. Family will receive friends Friday August 10,2018 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
