Alice Marie Acosta Mosqueda

Alice Marie Acosta Mosqueda, 60, of Navasota, entered into rest on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Scott & White Hospital in College Station. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the Faith Outreach Christian Center in Navasota. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Navasota.

Alice was born April 7, 1954 in Houston, the daughter of Augustine and Aurelia Arispe Acosta. She was a member of the Faith Outreach Christian Center and a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother.

Alice was preceded in death by her mother, Aurelia Acosta; son Aurelio Mosqueda; and a sister, Sylvia Orozco.

Survivors include her father, Augustine Acosta; children, Fernando and his wife Lisa Escamilla, Sirena Mosqueda and Filip Martinez, Luis and Glende Lopez Mosqueda; grandchildren, Lynette Escamile, Fernando Escamilla, Jr., Issac Escamilla, Eric Escamilla, Abby Escamilla, Damein Escamilla, and Luis Lopez; brothers and sisters, Salvador Ledesma, Bruno Acosta, Augustine Acosta, Johnny Acosta, Felix Acosta, Flora Cantu, Eduvijes Estrada and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank all of Alice’s caregivers and her sister, Eduvijes for the love and care Alice received from them.
