Charles Lee Shrimpton, age 76, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at his home in Bryan, Texas. He was born on December 22, 1942 in Grimes County.

He was a longtime Bryan resident, and was a business owner for over 40 years.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda Lawson Shrimpton; sister, Marie Reed of Kentucky; sister-law-law, Marie Lawson Lanham; daughter, Shelly Shrimpton of Grand Prairie, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Suzzette Shrimpton of Spring, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Mitch Jordan of Bryan; son, Steven Johnson of Milam, Texas; nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Charles was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Shrimpton.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2019, from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. Services will be held on Monday, November 25, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Both visitation and the service will be held at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station, Texas located at 2901 Texas Avenue South. Burial to follow the service at Plainview Cemetery near North Zulch, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation via www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org, or to your favorite charity.
