Thank you to so many of you: family who traveled so far to say good-bye/ "Love you" to Dave...friends & co-workers who came by...HR & Administration at CS Medical Center for support. Thanks to so many churches who prayed for comfort & peace for Dave & all of us, to Jason Fikes for providing insight into Dave, to so many folks from A&M Church of Christ for providing cookies for the reception, to my co-workers (friends) for support & food, to Memorial Funeral Chapel Hospice Brazos Valley Inpatient facility staff - our earthly angel caregivers for Dave & for us...certainly for Dave's daughter Megan & her Mom who helped so that family was with him 24/7 his last 11 days on earth. Thanks to my local family for their tireless support and encouragement. Thanks to Blinn College HR, Admin., & co-workers for allowing me to be by Dave's side. Please forgive me if I left out someone unintentionally. Bless you all. Sincerely, Lois Brokenbourgh

Lois, I love you and Dave so much. You both have been a special part of my life over the years and I'm a better person because of it. I would love late talks with Dave at work over different books, history and politics. I know he was trying to educate me and I appreciated his efforts. Every once in a while I catch something and hear Dave's words come out of my mouth. Praying over you and for you during this difficulty time.

Dave Was A Quiet Man, Yet Was Very Diligent And Focused When Taking Care Of Patients, As I Had The Honor Of Being A CoWorker.
