

Deborah “Debbie” Ann Collett, age 63, passed away in Houston, Texas on Tuesday, November 18th following a courageous battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 30th, 1951 to Harold and Ann Wolf. She was preceded in death by both of her parents.
Debbie was a loving and dedicated wife, mother of three, and “Mimi” to five beautiful grandchildren. She was a graduate of The Villa Madonna Academy in Villa Hills, Kentucky. She met and married John Steven Collett, to whom she was wed for 42 years. Over the course of their married life they made homes in Cleveland, Ohio; Florence, Kentucky; The Woodlands, Texas; Waco, Texas; Overland Park, Kansas; and finally Conroe, Texas where they have lived for the last eight years.
Debbie was an avid Texas A&M Aggie fan who enjoyed attending football games with Steve in College Station, Texas, their home away from home.
She is survived by her beloved husband, John Steven Collett; her three children, Jennifer Sloma and husband Steve, Tony and wife Melissa, and Ryan and wife Erica; five grandchildren, Madeleine and Beckett Sloma, Jack and Harper Collett, and Emelia Collett; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, November 23rd, 2014, from 5:00 to 8:00pm with the Rosary recited at 6:30pm, at Memorial Funeral Chapel of College Station, 2901 Texas Avenue South, College Station, Texas 77845. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, November 24th, 2014, at 11:30am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 603 Church Avenue, College Station, Texas 77840. Interment to follow the Mass at City of College Station Memorial Cemetery.
Remembrances can be made in the name of Debbie Collett to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
